Boy, has this place gone downhill used to be a good place for burgers. I went in today. The last time I was in was about two years ago and then a few years before that. The food then was pretty good ample size burger patties and hot. Today was a pretty big disappointment small burger patty that tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp and then warmed a little more on the flat top. The size of the patty did not merit the twelve buck price tag. The bacon was pretty flovorless, adding nothing but some bite to the burger. Service was really slow after the order. I've been to enough Mom-n-Pop's and have a good grasp of how long it takes to fill an order, and Big Bubba's is behind the curve in service. I dropped twenty bucks for a good burger and was disappointed not to get it.

The burger was ok, not good but not bad. The patty was in need of seasoning, I think that was the main issue. The bun was very nice, condiments as well. But in the end the flavor was lacking and the burger was bland. The patty was moist and juicy though (but lacking that salty addictive taste).

Same for the onion rings, they could have been saltier.

I would recommend if the prices were lower, but for 10$ a cheeseburger, I would say to skip this one.

Nice spot to grab a burger and enjoy sights of the Sound. Expensive and sub par. Burgers missed the mark for me. They are slathered in a runny mustard heavy sauce, bun not toasted enough, soggy wet burger with a thin patty for +$10. Large fry was a good deal being a hefty portion and delicious.

We drove far out of our way on a day trip to Seattle to experience what was billed as the best burger in Washington.

Can I say it was the best burger in Washington that I've ever had? No. Was it definitely better than most burgers that I've had in Washington? Yes. Did it absolutely destroy any possible drive-through burger that you could get anywhere? 100%

I'd say that it is solidly on par with any drive-in style burger joint you can find up and down Oregon and Washington. Mike's Drive-In in Portland. Dandy's Drive-In in Bend. Etc.

It is worth trying, and the drive is quiet, and scenic, so it's not a stretch to make the trip as your return leg from a day trip to Seattle from Portland. Definitely would recommend.

Very beautiful view easy to pull off.. However they only take cash and I always have a card so being charged to eat they do have a arm was something I am not use to doing. The burger was good but I think I have a favorite place however I would try again

I found the staff to be a bit standoffish. I thought the wait for my meal was long. The burger was really greasy but the fried pickles were enjoyable. Don’t get a shake unless you ask for a spoon. They don’t blend them very well and then give you a thin straw. Kinda like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose.

Not the first time it’s been closed during listed business hours. I even called and it said it was 11-9 on Fridays. 3 stars on service because of this reason. Great food otherwise.

This place is a local treasure. Best burgers in the area hands down. Fries are meh, but a small size goes a long way and could pair well with the best milkshakes they serve. Can sometimes have a long line but is worth it.
