We did our own turkeys for the first time after taking the poultry class. Thank you for making this class available and I strongly recommend taking. It gave our family the confidence we needed to process ourselves and be more self-sufficient. I can't give you more than a 5 or I would. Thanks again!!

At Baker’s Green Acres, I took the chicken processing class. Before taking the class, I knew nothing about chickens. Now I can say that Mark and Jill and their family taught me everything I could possibly know, not just about raising chickens or processing chickens… But to feel confident doing both at the same time. After taking this class I know that I can raise and process my own chickens, no questions asked. Thank you Mark and Jill for telling me what I already knew… That anyone can farm.

I attended the hog harvest class and really enjoyed it. The class is hands on through the entire process and you can spend a lot of time working directly with Mark and Jill. The farm is beautiful and I appreciated the hospitality.
